Akron Acres is a family-run farm business specializing in agritourism. Since 1990, Andy and Marilyn Kelkenberg along with their four children; Laura, Andrew, Jacob, and Catherine, have been steadily growing their establishment. The farm, previously owned by Andy's grandparents, welcomes visitors for field trips, hayrides, pumpkin picking, Christmas tree cutting, weddings and more!

At Akron Acres, a visit becomes a tradition.  We are open to the public during our fall and Christmas seasons for families to come out and make some memories that will last a lifetime.

Our fall season begins the last weekend of September and continues every Saturday, Sunday and Columbus Day until Halloween from 10 am to 6 pm.  Enjoy an antique tractor-drawn hayride to our pumpkin patch and pick a pumpkin right off the vine.  We also have two barns full of friendly farm animals that you are welcome to visit while on the farm, pony rides for kids and a five-acre corn maze.

Be sure to stop in and visit the market and country store and market for pumpkins, squash, apples, cider, fall decor, candles, canned goods, honey and more!

Our Christmas season begins the Friday after Thanksgiving and continues every Saturday and Sunday in December. Horse-drawn hayrides to our tree fields run from 10 AM to 4:30 PM with the farm staying open until 5 PM.

We offer beautiful cut-your-own as well as NYS grown pre-cut Fraser, Canaan, Concolor and Balsam Fir trees at the market for you to choose from. Don’t forget to visit the animals, have a cup of hot cocoa and kettle corn and get a fresh wreath for your door from the country store while at the farm!

As always, we thank you for supporting our family farm!
