Fort Niagara's Hidden African-American History

Join us for this special tour that explores the hidden African American history of Fort Niagara. The tour will cover the topics of slavery in New France, loyalist Richard Pierpoint, the 24th Infantry Regiment at the fort in 1909 and artist Hubert Crawford who painted the mural "Lions of Cantigny" that adorns the Fort Niagara Officers Club. The tour is included in the regular admission price, OFNA members are free. The tour is limited to 18 persons (2 groups) on a first-come-first-served basis.
