Downtown Country Market At Buffalo Place

Held on Thursdays at Fountain Plaza (Main Street Chippewa and Huron Streets) the Market provides a delightful shopping experience for residents, workers, and visitors, and features an eclectic mix of fresh goods and fine wares. The Downtown Country Market is a proud participant in the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, Field & Fork Network Double Up Food Bucks Program, and the Farmers’ Market Federation of New York. The season will begin on Thursday, June 5, 2025 and continue weekly on Thursdays through October 23, 2025 (No Market on Thursday, July 3rd) between the hours of 10am and 2pm.

Architecture Adventures – Bug Art at the Martin House

Join the Martin House for Architecture Adventures – Bug Art! This fun and free outdoor program is offered one Saturday per month in the summer. Registration is required. For June 21, participants will set off on a scavenger hunt across the Martin House grounds to gather leaves, sticks, flowers, and other natural items. They will then turn these items into “bugs” with the use of glue, markers, paint, etc. Perfect for ages 5-12, the program will be limited to 15 participants. We kindly ask that only one parent/guardian participate per family.
