Join us for a free candlelight concert of romantic music with Sally Schaefer at the Anna Reinstein Memorial Library at 2580 Harlem Rd Cheektowaga, NY. Sally Schaefer (aka sallyanndra) is a Buffalo-based ethnomusicologist, archivist, and multi-instrumental folk musician best known for her work as a violinist in genres as diverse as Americana, Celtic music, rock, hip hop, polka, and punk. As a solo performer, she uses a loop pedal and an array of ethereal effects to create layered string soundscapes that become foundations for unique, modernized arrangements of folk, pop, jazz, and classical melodies.
