19th-Century Calico Ball
Join us for an enchanting evening of 19th-century revelry inspired by our 2025 spring fashion & textile exhibit, “Color Me Calico: A Taste for Prints & Parties”.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Attendees will experience an unforgettable celebration featuring live music, spirited period and contra dancing with Expert Caller Margaret Mathews, and delightful refreshments. Don your finest calico and enjoy sweet & savory hors oeuvres, refreshing drinks, and libations. Between sets, explore the John L. Wehle Gallery, where the calico exhibit will be open for browsing and a cash bar. Experience the charm, color, and lively traditions of a true 19th-century calico ball – where prints meet partners, and history comes to life!
