SUPERHEROES & VILLAINS

ChalkFest Buffalo! 2015 will prove to be a SUPER year as our theme is Superheroes & their Villains! Artists reserving squares do not need to illustrate within the theme, everyone should feel free to create whatever their imagination can come up with!

This year we are also excited to be back on Main Street at the newly renovated Fountain Plaza, located between Huron and Chippewa Streets.

*ALL activities and times can be found on our timeline of events!*

**********Introducing Ellie**********

This year ChalkFest Buffalo! welcomes local author and illustrator Anne Apfel, who has written a childrens book titled "Introducing Ellie".  Anne says the inspiration came from friends whose children would draw their families in chalk on the sidewalk.  "Introducing Ellie" was based on Anne's own childhood growing up on a dairy farm around the age when she was about to enter kindergarten.

Anne currently lives in Williamsville with her husband George Thomas Apfel, who is a retired Las Vegas radio personality.  George will be doing a reading of the story at 1PM and Anne will have a few copies for sale to interested parties.  Her book is also for sale on Amazon as hard copy or kindle.
