Enjoy special performances celebrating black history presented by Bright Star Theatre. See Heroes of the Underground Railroad at 1 p.m. and learn about Harriet Tubman, Levi Coffin, and other powerful leaders during the Abolitionist Movement in the United States. Watch Let It Shine: The American Civil Rights Movement at 3 p.m. and learn about the pivotal moments that took place in the 1950s and 1960s, including the Montgomery bus boycott. Learn how to encourage positive conversations about race, create a craft to use as a symbol of peace, and explore art created by Art Force Five. Included with general museum admission fees.
