Doors Open Buffalo is a unique opportunity to visit building interiors that are often not open to the public and is a choose-your-own-adventure event: visitors can visit as many locations and in whatever order they wish.

Time: 10 am - 4 pm
Event Hub: Buffalo Niagara Convention Center @153 Franklin Street
Sensory-Friendly Hour: 9 am - 10 am
Typically held on a Saturday in September, Doors Open Buffalo attracts thousands of visitors each year! There are kid-friendly experiences at certain locations throughout the event. Last year, Doors Open had coloring, button-making, "print your own" design on a printing press, and even cookie decorating available for kids!

You can also volunteer at Doors Open Buffalo!
Volunteering at Doors Open Buffalo provides you with the opportunity to work inside of one of Buffalo’s most significant buildings and to be an ambassador for the city to our thousands of visitors!
Responsibilities include greeting and checking in visitors, providing directions and sharing information about your building. You can choose to volunteer for a half day so that you may enjoy the rest of the event before or after your shift!
