Graycliff's Summer Solstice Garden Party

It is believed that Frank Lloyd Wright intentionally designed the corner window in the "view room" of Graycliff's main house to perfectly frame the setting sun around the summer solstice. We are excited to welcome the public to the property during this very special time of year and have the opportunity to celebrate Graycliff's magic together.

 

Tickets are $75, with the option to purchase a pair of tickets for $125 when using code SOLSTICE. Graycliff Members can purchase individual tickets for $65.

 

Included with each ticket is admission to the party, food by Daily’s and Coyote Cafe, entertainment, and access to the interior of Graycliff’s main house where a fine art silent auction will be on display. A cash bar by the Traveling Tipsy Trailer will be on site all evening.

 

Please note that this event is rain or shine. In the event of rain, a tent and umbrellas will be made available to guests. While cocktail attire is encouraged, we also recommend that you dress for the weather. We will still be toasting to the setting solstice sun, even in the rain. As the majority of the event takes place outdoors on our historic lawns, we do not recommend wearing heels. Stiletto heels are not permitted on the interior of our historic house in order to protect our beautifully restored Red Tidewater Cypress wood floors.

 

All proceeds from the Summer Solstice Garden Party provide important operational funds to support Graycliff Conservancy’s mission, which is centered around the preservation of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed structures and grounds, along with the Ellen Biddle Shipman-designed gardens and landscape, that comprise Graycliff, the summer retreat of Isabelle & Darwin Martin. Funds will be put to immediate use to properly care for our remarkable historic site.
