Experience Living History at Ganondagan for Hodinöhsö:ni’ Healthy Roots, Culture, and Traditions. This day-long event brings traditional arts, history, games, food, music and dance.

Visit Ganondagan’s Living History event, Hodinöhsö:ni’ Healthy Roots, Culture, and Traditions to experience a day packed with traditional 18th-century re-enactors, hands-on demonstrations of traditional arts and food practices, Iroquois Social dancing, outdoor games, family craft activities, historical presentations and extensive wampum displays. Watch skilled artisans demonstrate cornhusk mat weaving and finger weaving, try your hand at hoop and javelin and archery, sample Iroquois White Corn wheels and venison stew.

 

In addition, hear Site Manager Peter Jemison talk about The Peacemaker and preview the Nov. 11 Canandaigua Treaty, go on a guided walk, and much more. Only at Ganondagan!
