Mammal Skull Identification at Como Lake Park

Ranger Stephanie will be set up inside the Como Lake Park Casino from 10am-12pm to teach you the ins-and-outs of animal skulls! Learn to tell the difference between species, how to age deer skulls and how to find out what kinds of food wildlife eat. Stephanie will have a display of real skulls from birds and mammals found in our region, so bring your questions and let Ranger Stephanie increase your osteological knowledge! This event will take place entirely in the wheelchair accessible Chestnut Ridge Casino and will not have a hiking component. Come by and say hi!
