Join us for a twilight walk across our 54-acre fossil park to search for extinct marine animals, but don’t forget to bring a lantern or flashlight to help uncover the buried geological treasure. Our educators will be on hand to assist novices and experienced fossil hunters alike. Visitors may keep all of the fossils that they find.
For those looking up, sunspot viewing will be available until dusk. After dark we’ll look for the Waxing Crescent Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn. The Summer Triangle, Big Dipper, Scorpius, Sagittarius, and Hercules will be visible in addition to M27 — the Ring Nebula — and M13 — The Great Globular Cluster.
Admission to A Midsummer Night’s Adventure is $9 for adults and $7 for children; Penn Dixie members attend FREE.
