Join us upstairs at the library for an evening of acoustic folk with Sally Schaefer and Tyler Bagwell on Wednesday, July 17th at 6 pm. Based in Buffalo, this duo brings a refined touch to Celtic folk melodies, fiddle tunes, ballads, and tavern songs.
Sally Schaefer, an ethnomusicologist with deep roots in Western New York's music scene, showcases her skillful fiddling and soulful vocals. She has lent her talents to various bands, including Creek Bend Bluegrass and McCarthyizm.
Tyler Bagwell, a songwriter and historian, adds a narrative depth to their performance with original compositions inspired by local history and folk traditions.
