GCV&M offers one of the nation’s most comprehensive 19th-century base ball programs which includes the National Silver Ball Tournament in August and matches most Sundays, June – October. See the full schedule here. Watch as teams from the Midwest to the Northeast unpack their woolen uniforms, brown balls, and double-knobbed bats to play in Silver Base Ball Park, on the Great Meadow, and this year, a THIRD field on Upper Meadow (where the balloon used to be), simultaneously.
Friday – Sunday, July 31 – August 2: NATIONAL SILVER BALL TOURNAMENT
Friday – 4 p.m. & 6 p
Saturday – 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. & 5 p.m.
Sunday – 9 a.m., 11 a.m. (men’s & ladies match)
