At the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute's Culinary Youth Camps, kids don't just learn to cook — they discover what they're capable of in a real professional kitchen. With age-grouped day camps for ages 8–10, 11–13, and 14–17, every camper dives into hands-on themes like Around the World, Street Foods, Southern Comforts, and even a Chopped-style Competition Day — all while making and eating delicious food from scratch, every single day.
Younger campers (8–10) build confidence through knife skills, baking fundamentals, and crowd-pleasers like homemade pizza, taco bars, and cupcake decorating. Tweens (11–13) level up with global cuisine — think ramen bowls, Tres Leches cake, loaded nachos with homemade chips, and Nutella mousse. Our baking week takes it even further, with cinnamon rolls, class-made tortillas, and a cake decorating challenge. Teens (14–17) tackle bold, chef-worthy dishes like butter chicken with basmati rice, filled churros, fried chicken with collard greens, and a head-to-head Chopped competition on the last day.
Every camp session is a full culinary experience — breakfast, lunch, snack, and dessert — all made by the campers themselves. Kids go home full, proud, and ready to cook for the whole family.
