Eric Huebner, Professor and Chair of the Department of Music at the University at Buffalo, presents a program of late 19th and early 20th century music at the Buffalo History Museum. The program will showcase the Museum’s one-of-a-kind 1901 Steinway piano, drawing inspiration from music that would have been heard at the Pan-American Exhibition’s Temple of Music.

Pianist Eric Huebner has drawn worldwide acclaim for his performances since making his debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at age 17. In January 2012, he was appointed pianist of the New York Philharmonic and currently holds the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Piano Chair. A devoted teacher as well as performer, Mr. Huebner is Professor and Chair of Music at the University at Buffalo (SUNY) where he maintains a studio of graduate and undergraduate piano majors and minors. Mr. Huebner holds a B.M. and M.M. from The Juilliard School where he studied with Jerome Lowenthal.
