Rochester Parkinson Network (RPN), a 501 (c)(3) corporation serving the 6-county region around Greater Rochester, NY, is sponsoring a Research Forum for organizations engaged in Parkinson disease-related research. The forum will provide opportunities for explaining research, recruiting participants, and highlighting outcomes or showcasing marketable results of research. The 2026 event will be held at the Jewish Community Center located at 1200 Edgewood Ave, Rochester, NY 14618 on April 25, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Representatives of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research will deliver the keynote address. Two panel discussions will focus on the latest findings in PD research and the current challenges facing researchers in this space, including the status of research funding. MJFF is generously making available headsets that will provide real-time translation to Spanish. RPN hopes this event will promote ongoing dialog and/or further interaction within the Spanish-speaking PD community. All are welcome - people with PD, care partners, families, allied medical professionals, and other researchers. The event is free and open to the public.
