A Science Café is a discussion about science in a social setting. Community members talk with researchers about real-world issues and the ways that research can impact health. Science Cafés are open to the public. The researcher is Laurene Tumiel-Berhalter, PhD, Associate Professor and Director of Community Translational Research in the Department of Family Medicine at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo.

- Listen to a presentation from the researcher on the importance of Plain Language.
- Participate in an open discussion on Plain Language used in research studies.
- Visit tables for more detailed information and a copy of the new primer/toolkit.
