The South Wales Community Hall is a non-profit organization that operates on donations and rental fees. I am happy to
announce that our building is 100 years old this year. We will be holding a community fair to honor the centennial anniversary of this building. The event will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 10am to 3 pm.
A brief overview of our history in 1916 Community Fairs were held to raise funds for the building of the Community Hall. The hall was formally erected in 1923 where the community gathered to host many private and public events.
We will be honoring our past through this event which will have a 1920s style carnival theme. This theme will be supported with carnival games, community vendors, both outdoor and indoor activities, and music. The event will also have an educational portion in which our history will be on display for the community to learn and enjoy.
