-On Sunday night, September 27, 2015, there will be a total eclipse of the moon that - weather permitting - will be easily visible with the unaided eye from the Rochester region. The most interesting part of the eclipse begins at 9:07pm, when the moon begins to enter the dark part of Earth’s shadow. Join us for a special eclipse-viewing event that evening in collaboration with volunteer amateur astronomers from the Astronomy Section of the Rochester Academy of Science.
Weather Status: Check back at noon, Sat., Sept. 26
