In today’s highly competitive workplace, leadership is key to success in every profession. But as a parent, how can you help your son or daughter develop those critically important skills? With the Steve Tasker Self-Leadership Experience. Best known as one of the greatest wide receivers and special teams players in NFL history, Tasker will be drawing from his professional experiences on and off the field to help motivate and inspire students during his three-day summer leadership camp. Topics covered will range from ethical decision making and goal setting to public speaking and effective networking. The camp is for students in 9th – 12th grade and will be held August 4th – 6th on the Canisius College campus which is co-sponsored by Canisius Center for Professional Development and Canisius College’s School of Education and Human Services. Why consider the Steve Tasker Self-Leadership Experience for your son or daughter? It’s truly an investment in his or her future. Your child will gain more confidence, learn how to establish clearer goals, and improve their ability to communicate and build relationships. The leadership skills they obtain will also set them apart from their peers when applying for limited college openings and, ultimately, prepare them for more career success.
