Summer Sampler: Fun on the Farm

During this unique class, our youngest campers will be introduced to the Pioneer Farm and the animals that live there. Collect eggs, grind corn, listen to stories, sing songs, play games, and more. Visiting a farm has never been more fun!

With the GCV&M Historic Village as the setting for adventure, campers dressed in period clothing are immersed in lives and times of young people of the 19th century. Campers discover the Pioneer Farm and sample Village life or dive deeper into 19th century trades, skills, and key historical events.
- Week-long day camp Monday through Friday
- AM Sessions: July 20 - 24 & August 3 - 7 (10:00 AM-12:30 PM)
- PM Sessions: July 27 - 31 & August 10 - 14 (1:30 - 4:00 PM)
- For a full-day experience, consier the "Full-day GCV&M Sampler"
- Ages 4-6
- $115 / week (10% Discount for GCV&M Members)

- One-way Camp bus provided daily with convenient Rochester stops! Advance registration required
- Before and after care available
- 9:00 – 10:00 AM
- 4:00 – 5:00 PM
- Healthy lunch options available
- Camp nurse provided (verification of immunizations & Health History Report required)
- On the first day of class, youngsters receive a loan of period clothing, which becomes "their" outfit for the week! (a $40 cash deposit is required and will be refunded when the costume is returned.)
