Join us on Friday, July 25 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM for a one-of-a-kind wildlife experience that brings nature right to your neighborhood. Talk on the Wild Side is an interactive program that gives children the opportunity to meet live birds of prey up close and learn what makes these incredible animals such skilled survivors.
This event is not just exciting—it is educational. Kids will learn about the different species of raptors, including how they hunt, how they communicate, and how they use their unique adaptations to thrive in the wild. Presenters will guide the group through the differences in bird calls, wing shapes, and behavior, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at animals most people only see from a distance.
Recommended for ages 8 and up, this program supports curiosity, science learning, and a deeper appreciation for wildlife. It is an excellent opportunity for young nature lovers to gain firsthand experience with environmental education and conservation.
Space is limited and registration is strongly encouraged. This program is free and open to the public. Do not miss the chance to connect with some of nature's most powerful predators—right here at your local library.
