At the Sheftall Lab, we want to understand what factors are related to youth suicidal thoughts and behaviors. We investigate the links between risk factors, such as familial relationships, and protective factors, such as school performance, and suicidal thoughts and behaviors (STBs). We hope our research will inform youth suicide risk assessment and prevention programs.
