In June 1972, the Watergate scandal occurred. What started out as a "third rate burglary" turned into one of the biggest political scandals in United States history and brought down a corrupt president. Mark Sample, history professor at Monroe Community College will discuss this event from the origins through to Richard Nixon's resignation in 1974.
