Join us for a free, in-depth, four-part series designed to empower students with critical organizational and technology skills to do more in school and life. Each of the four, beginner-level Workshops offers two hours of hands-on interactive learning through the planning and development of a fundraising campaign for a social good project of their choosing. The beginner series is recommended for students ages 13 to 16. This camp runs four days, two hours each session - October 13th, 20th, 27th and November 3rd from 4-6pm.
By the end of the series, students will gain functional understanding of Microsoft productivity tools and applications—including Office, Windows 10, and Surface—so they can apply their new knowledge and skills to school, life, and career. The series covers research, planning, creative, and presenting techniques in sequence, and culminates in students sharing their work with the class. The tools and skills they use to plan and develop their campaign are directly applicable to “best practices” in school and life alike.
This four-day workshop series lasts two hours per day, and participants must attend the days consecutively.
The parent, legal guardian or authorized adult caregiver of every camp participant under 17 years of age must sign a Participation Agreement upon arrival and remain in the Microsoft Store for the duration of the event.
Reserve your spot by registering today.
A free Microsoft account is required for this workshop series. Surfaces will be provided for student use during this workshop, but students are welcome to bring your own device (BYOD). In order to gain the full benefit of the series, all BYOD devices must be loaded with Windows 10 or later and Office 365 or Office 2013 or later.
