Tap into the sights, sounds, and tastes of the maple season! Our Maple Festival is an outdoor adventure with several unique areas of the Museum to explore! In each, you may find maple history, live music, vendors, food, bonfires, hands-on activities, storytelling…its outdoor fun for the whole family! Join us for a delightful experience at our Nature Center and Historic Village, where you can explore the maple sugaring process, enjoy seasonal storytelling, participate in hands-on activities like tree-tapping and candle making, savor delicious maple-themed foods, and shop from a variety of local vendors while listening to live music under the festival tent.
We’re thrilled to announce the renovation of Greenhouse 12 and The Tropical Orchard! the Tropical Orchard will take you on brand new winding paths to discover exciting fruits and spices from all over the world. From pineapples and bananas to starfruit and Australian Finger Limes, there is so much to learn and discover about some of your favorite juicy snacks and the important role that edible plants play in our lives.
